By covering areas such as vocal technique, text analysis, and character study, you will develop the skills to turn a musical theatre piece into a captivating performance. The class will culminate in a showcase open to the public.

Prior to the start of class, students must prepare:

• 32-bar cut (or 1-1.5 minutes) of a Musical Theatre song of your choosing, with sheet music in an appropriate key.
• Your cut should be memorized prior to the start of the class.
