Broadway Bound: Intermediate/Advanced Musical Theatre
10 weeks Monday 6:30-8:30
Hone your musical theatre abilities as you discover your strengths and expand your showmanship skills. This musical theatre scene-study course focuses on making strong choices toward discovering objectives, taking risks, and living in the moment through song. Outside partner work may be required. This class will culminate in a performance of works in progress for family and friends at the end of the session.
Scene Study: Advanced Acting by Audition Only
with José Aviles
10 weeks Monday 6:30-9:30 taught by Jose Aviles
Advanced students will further their study of acting technique and character development through scene work while continuing to develop and hone the actors tools. Explore strong character choices, taking risks in a scene, and creating dynamic relationships between characters. Multi methods such as Uta Hagen, Meisner, and Stanislavski will be explored. Outside work is required for this class. This class culminates in a performance of works in progress for family and friends on the final day of the session.
An Actor Prepares: Intro to Acting

Have you ever been curious about acting? Begin your exploration of the actor's journey by learning techniques that every actor must know. In this class you’ll learn the fundamentals of the craft and apply them toward creating a character in a monologue in a fun, supportive and stress free environment! This class culminates in a final sharing of works in progress for family and friends.
Acting Out!: Youth Acting for ages 8-11

Discover the actor inside of you! This class is the first step to building confidence and a solid foundation in the art of acting. Students will learn basic theatre skills in a supportive and creative environment. Learn how to answer the questions all actors must ask before they even pick up a script: Who? Where? What? Why? How? Students will share what they’ve learned in a Final Sharing for family and friends on the last day of the session!
Triple Threat Kids: Acting & Musical Theatre for ages 5-7

for 5-7 years old Saturday 9-10:30 taught by Sophia Williar
Explore your imagination and love for acting,music and dance! Children will learn how to be a part of an ensemble while having so much fun re-imagining characters and stories from their favorite books! They will begin to use their bodies, voices, minds, and imaginations to create original and simple musicals. The class will end with a final sharing of the songs and stories developed in class.
Teen Comedy Club: Improv for Teens 12-17

12-17 10 weeks Saturdays 10:00-12:00pm taught by Davina Reid
Improvisation skills are the foundation of any successful performance. Teamwork, listening, spontaneity, and thinking quickly on your feet. Students learn the rules of improv by playing improv exercises and games to increase performance skills and awaken creativity. Excellent for students looking to boost self-confidence and positivity or for fans of script-less performance. This class will end the session with a fun and hilarious final sharing.
Broadway Baby: Youth Musical Theatre for ages 8-11

Musical theater is more than just singing and dancing; it’s acting through a song. By using material from Broadway and movie musicals, your child will explore how to interpret a song and gain strong collaborative skills by working on group numbers. This class will culminate in a final sharing of their works in progress on the last day of the session.
The Teen Ensemble: Teen Acting for ages 12-17

Saturday 10:35-12:05 PM taught by Ivy Sunflower
Teens will explore how to apply the actor’s tools (body, voice, mind, and imagination) to take creative risks when building characters and making strong and exciting choices while working on comedic and dramatic scenes and monologues. Main class objectives: to build an ensemble, learn technique through a rehearsal process and flexing the tools of the actor. This class is designed as ongoing training for multi-level teen actors. Students will perform works in progress with family and friends on the last day of the session!
