Acting out!: Youth Acting

Discover the actor inside of you! This class is the first step to building confidence and a solid foundation in the art of acting. Students will learn basic theater skills in a supportive and creative environment. Learn how to answer the questions all actors must ask before they even pick up a script: Who? Where? What? Why? How? Students will share what they've learned in a Final Sharing for family and friends on the last day of the session!

Broadway Baby!: Youth Musical Theatre

Musical theater is more than just singing and dancing; it's acting through a song. By using material from Broadway and move movie musicals, your child will explore how to interpret a song and gain strong collaborative skills by working on group numbers. This class will culminate in a final sharing of their works in progress on the last day of the session.

Teen Comedy Club: Improv for Teens

Improvisation skills are the foundation of any successful peformance. Teamwork, listening, spontaneity, and thinking quickly on your feet. Students learn the rules of improv by playing improv exercises and games to increase performance skills and awaken creativity. Excellent for students looking to boost self-confidence and positivity or for fans of script-less performance. This class will end the session with a fun and hilarious final sharing.

Triple Threat: Sing, Act & Dance workshop

Explore your imagination and love for music and dance! Children will learn how to be a part of an ensemble while having so much fun re-imagining characters and stories from their favorite books! They will begin to use their bodies, voices, minds, and imaginations to create original, simple, mini musicals. The class will end with a final sharing of the songs and stories developed in class.

Showstoppers!: Teen Musical Theatre

Musical theater performance is more than just singing; it's acting through a song. In this ongoing, multi-level training program for teens, these young artits will be immersed in the material from a contemporary or classical Broadway musical. Teens will not only explore how to interpret a song and gain collaboration skills by working on group numbers but they will also learn about the creators and the history of the material that they will work on. This class will culminate in a performance of their works in progress based musical chosen to be explored on the last day of the session. (The Teen Ensemble or Teen Comedy Club are great companion classes for teens artists who are looking for a well rounded training experience)

Lights! Camera! Action!: Acting for TV & Commercials

In this fun and creative class, kids will learn the basics for television and film acting by creating original commercials and scenes. Students will learn how to create characters through acting techniques and situations through scene analysis that will jump off the screen.
